Hundreds attended the Iron Event, a Buffalo Bite Competition at Banchetti by Rizzo's in Amherst, New York to raise funds to defray health care expenses for Chef Daniel Tracy diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's. A great way to spend the day Sunday, January 30 at 4 PM. The food bites were all incredibly delicious, making it challenging to pick out the best tasting one from the finest chefs in the Western New York area gathered at the event to showcase their culinary skills and to help a friend.

Eating for a cause, Chef Daniel Tracy
Daniel Tracy made a name for himself in the local cuisine market, working as a line cook in many restaurants from Mother's, Tempo, Bravo to others just about ready to open his own place until he developed Lou Gehrig's disease at age 33. And now life took a detour from the executive sous chef at Black & Blue to working in the banking industry, using more of his MBA now than his culinary knives, exchanging them for pens, pencils and a calculator as a senior loan officer at Bank of America.
A fundraiser is being organized for him to help defray his health insurance costs at Banchetti by Rizzo, 550 N. French Road, Amherst on Sunday, January 30 from 4 to 8 pm.
